Club Directors

Meet the Directors of the Shenandoah Valley Steam & Gas Engine Association's annual

 "Pageant of Steam & Gas Show".   These are our members who make the decisions, assign the tasks,

and along with our other members, set up the threshing machine and hay baling exhibits,

work with the tractor and equipment exhibitors, make arrangements for the flea market vendors, work with the concession vendors, and select the Saturday night musical entertainment.  In essence, these gentlemen,

 along with our other Association members and the many volunteers who help, make

our annual "Pageant of Steam & Gas Show" the success it is.

 

Wayne Godlove

 is not only a

Steam Show Director, but is also the only surviving charter member

of the Shenandoah Valley

Steam & Gas Engine Association's

founding back in the 1960's.  He has been Club President, Vice-President, and Club Treasurer as well as a Steam Show Director.

 

Steve Giles

is a Shenandoah Valley

Steam & Gas Engine Association

Director.

Steve takes care of the Club's Steam-Powered tractors.  He can be seen throughout the annual "pageant of Steam" show driving through the park grounds on a steam tractor.

Kenny Pruitt

Is a Shenandoah Valley

Steam & Gas Engine Association Director.

Kenny can usually be seen during the Show operating the Club's belt-driven Shingle Mill

 as well as helping with the belt-driven

Threshing Machine.

Kenny also is in charge of the annual Parades held at noon on Saturday and Sundays during the Show.

Kenny also organizes the Club's

participation in Community Parades

during the year.

 

Larry Lloyd

is a Shenandoah Valley

Steam & Gas Engine Association

 Director.  Larry can usually be found helping with the Threshing Machine and Hay Baler demonstrations.

 

Jerry Ullery

is a Shenandoah Valley

Steam & Gas Engine Association Director. Being a Master

Sawyer, Jerry is usually found helping with the Club's Saw Mill demonstrations.

 

 

Doug Hagar

Is a Shenandoah Valley

Steam & Gas Engine

Association Director.

Doug works with all of the Gas Engine Exhibitors at the Show.

 

Mike Lanham

Is a Shenandoah Valley

Steam & Gas Engine Association Director.

 Mike is Chairman of the Gate Admissions as well as the Club's Entertainment Director, making

sure we have great Bluegrass Bands to

entertain our visitors following the Horse Pull on Saturday Nights.

 

 

 

Ms Barbara Heflin

is a Shenandoah Valley

Steam & Gas Engine

Association Director.

Barbara is also the Club's

Flea Market and Vendor Chairperson.

Charlie Gray

is a Shenandoah Valley

Charlie is the Club's Chairman of our

annual Steam Show Consignment Auction,

held on the Saturday morning of the Show.

Charlie can also provide information to anyone wishing to bring and display an antique truck to the Show.

Ms. Trina Dunn

is the Shenandoah Valley

Steam & Gas Engine Association's

Charlie Gray

or "Charlie 3" as he is known in the Club since both his Dad and his Grandfather are members of the Club and both are named Charlie,

is in charge of the Club's

annual Antique Tractor Pull held on Friday nights during the Show.
